DOGS ARE INCREDIBLE

When humans breathe, we emit volatile organic compounds (VOC) in our breath. These VOC are the result of metabolic processes that happen inside our bodies. Each of the VOC has a unique smell and although there are over 1,000 VOC released in each breath, a dog trained to detect the odor of a specific group of them can indicate if they're present in an instant. We're training dogs to detect VOC specific to various cancers utilizing a small handheld tube that is able to capture VOC from human breath. With this and other innovative technology, our goal is to provide non-invasive, affordable, accurate, and early at-home cancer screening requiring only a few breaths.

The first recorded case of a dog detecting cancer in a human was in 1989

A pet dog with zero training started sniffing excessively at a mole on its owner's face until the owner finally got it checked. And sure enough, the mole was found to be cancerous. Now imagine what trained dogs can do.
